2012: The Founding Origins
In 2012, Louis-Xavier Savard founded a firm with the aim of offering families and businesses financial services from multiple providers with ease. Entrepreneurial and visionary, Louis-Xavier already saw the large-scale business it would become despite his early twenties.
2020: The GFS Advantage
In December 2018, Karl Desgroseilliers joined the team with his expertise with entrepreneurial customers and high net worth. When Eric Desgroseilliers followed in February 2020, he brought to the company a full range of banking services and solid experience in mortgages, insurance and group annuities. The two became shareholders and the firm was renamed Groupe Financier Signature. Since then, l’Avantage GFS has established a synergy between the various components to better meet the varied needs of its customers.
2023: The Expansion Phase
In 2023, GFS conducted a successful participatory financing campaign. This initiative was followed by two private financings that enabled the company to acquire some twenty new customers.
2024: Obtaining the Title of General Agent
GFS became a General Agent in 2024, recruiting more than 100 representatives in the first half of the year.
Several Associate General Agents also joined GFS as General Agents to accelerate their expansion.
A partnership was also signed with Sentinel Financial Group for exclusive recruitment rights in Quebec for group savings and exempt market broker representatives. The year 2024 is also marked by the automation of our business processes, the integration of new representatives and the launch of our call center targeting commercial customers.
2024: The CSF Podcast
At the same time, GFS creates the CSF Podcast for financial security advisors, rich in motivation and generous in reflections focused on personal development, offering a space for industry professionals to meet and exchange ideas.
